Terms and Conditions for Membership, Website, and Services of NNLE “Georgian National Climbing Federation”
These Terms and Conditions constitute the rules and conditions for using the official website, mobile application, membership portal, and related services of NNLE “Georgian National Climbing Federation” (hereinafter — “Federation”). By accepting them, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions.
If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions and do not wish to be bound by them, please do not use the Federation’s website or application, do not register as a member, and do not utilize the available services and privileges.
Unless explicitly stated otherwise in the text, the terms used in these Terms and Conditions have the following meanings:
Welcome! Before registering as a member of NNLE “Georgian National Climbing Federation” or using its services, please read the following rules carefully:
By accepting these conditions, confirming the agreement electronically, or signing the membership application, the Federation member (or applicant) expresses full consent to comply with these Terms and Conditions as well as the Federation’s Charter.
2.1. Awareness of Risks: The Federation member/athlete acknowledges that sport climbing (bouldering, lead climbing, speed climbing, rock climbing, etc.) is a high-intensity sport involving potential risks. During training and competitions, there are risks of falling, muscle injuries, and joint damage.
2.2. Health Guarantee: The Federation member guarantees that they have no medical contraindications (cardiovascular diseases, severe spine/joint injuries, epilepsy, etc.) that would prevent safe execution of climbing exercises and competitions or endanger their own health or that of others.
2.3. The Federation will not perform physical assessments or medical diagnostics of members. Any testing or coach evaluations are purely advisory and intended for athletic progress monitoring.
2.4. Safety and Equipment: Members must comply with international and internal safety standards. The use of certified climbing equipment in strict accordance with manufacturer instructions and safety rules is mandatory.
2.5. The Federation is not liable for health deterioration or injuries caused by violation of safety rules, disregard of instructions, or pre-existing medical conditions.
3.1. Identification: Digital or physical membership cards / QR codes are issued to Federation members to confirm their active member status.
3.2. Special Rates at Climbing Halls and Partners: Active Federation members enjoy exclusive discounted rates at partner climbing halls, sports equipment stores, and partner organizations (the active list of benefits is available on the website).
3.3. Event Participation: Federation members participate in championships, competitions, festivals, seminars, and training sessions organized by the Federation at preferential rates or free of charge (in accordance with the specific event regulations).
3.4. Transferring one’s membership card or QR code to third parties to receive benefits is strictly prohibited. Violations may result in status revocation.
4.1. Membership Fee Obligation: Federation members are obligated to pay monthly membership fees in a timely manner, as determined by the Federation’s Board/Charter.
4.2. Payment Method: Membership fees are paid online via the website/application or by direct bank transfer to the Federation’s account.
4.3. Arrears and Status Suspension: In case of non-payment or delay of membership fees, access to Federation benefits and partner discounts is automatically suspended until full settlement of arrears.
4.4. Paid membership fees are non-refundable, as they are used to support the statutory goals of the Federation and the development of the sport.
5.1. In case of damage or loss of equipment (harnesses, ropes, carabiners) provided for temporary use at Federation events or facilities, the member is obligated to compensate for the damage caused.
6.1. The Federation and its staff are not responsible for lost or damaged personal/valuable items at events or premises.
7.1. Data Processing: By submitting an application, the member consents to NNLE “Georgian National Climbing Federation” processing their personal data for membership administration, ranking management, and sending informational notices.
7.2. Photo and Video Coverage: Photo and video recording takes place during tournaments and events organized by the Federation. Members consent to the use of their image on official Federation resources and media for promoting the sport.
7.3. Members may opt out of receiving marketing messages at any time by emailing info@geoclimbing.ge.
Federation members have the right to enjoy statutory privileges, participate in national competitions, and utilize partner discounts.
9.1. Comply with the Federation’s Charter, internal regulations, and sports ethics norms;
9.2. Pay monthly membership fees on time;
9.3. Respect judges, coaches, and fellow athletes.
Smoking, consumption of alcohol, banned stimulants (doping), or narcotics, as well as unsportsmanlike and aggressive behavior, is strictly prohibited at Federation events and premises.
Membership may be terminated upon a member’s written request, due to systematic non-payment of membership fees, or by decision of the Federation Board in cases of severe breach of ethics or Charter.
Membership fees and event registration fees are target-specific and non-refundable (unless an event is cancelled due to the Federation’s fault).
13.1. To ensure safety, prevent accidents, and investigate incidents, continuous video/audio surveillance is active in NNLE “Georgian National Climbing Federation” headquarters, bases, and climbing areas (excluding locker rooms and restrooms).
14.1. These Terms are governed by the active legislation of Georgia and the Federation’s Charter. Any dispute shall be resolved through negotiation, or by the courts of Georgia if agreement is not reached.
14.2. Language Supremacy: These Terms and Conditions are executed in the Georgian language. If translated into another language, the Georgian version shall prevail in case of any discrepancy or conflicting interpretation.

The mission of the Georgian Climbing National Federation is to develop and strengthen sport climbing in Georgia in accordance with international standards. We work on creating a safe, modern, and inclusive sports environment, supporting the younger generation, professional development of coaches and athletes, and promoting sport climbing. The federation aims to promote a healthy and active lifestyle in society through the development of sport climbing, while simultaneously establishing a strong national system that will enable Georgian athletes to successfully compete on the international stage and fight for world and Olympic medals.

Avtandil Kurasbediani was born on August 26, 1983, in the Lentekhi district. He has been involved in professional sports from an early age. He was a member of the Georgian National Climbing Team and a multiple-time Georgian champion in rock climbing, as well as a repeated winner of the Khergiani and Geldiashvili memorial tournaments and competitions. From 2012 to 2020, he served as the head coach of the Georgian National Team. He has extensive experience working with children, and many successful athletes have been trained under his guidance. He is distinguished by his love for his profession, dedication, and a strong sense of responsibility.

international standard speed climbing wall was installed at the Vake Sports Complex.
